NEOCC @ Summit Racing Recap

Posted 5/16/2016

Thanks to everyone who drove out to the first NEOCC of the 2016 season this past Sunday!

Even though everyone was worried about the weather, but we had an amazing 500-700 cars in attendance!  The ugly Ohio weather (we won't mention that S-word) held off until about 20 minutes before the end of the show, so we can't complain.

The diversity of the cars was incredible - we had everything from daily drivers, to exotics, Jeeps, trucks, muscle cars, and even a 200mph standing mile race car!

The freshly roasted coffee from Sraddha Coffee Roasting Company was welcomed by many on the chilly Sunday morning.  The line for their fantastic, fresh, and uniquely single pour coffee never dwindled!  Thank you Damon and Sarah for all your hard work.  We can't wait to have you back at future events!  If you liked their coffee, head over to Facebook and give them a like (or even better yet, go visit their restaurant)!

Many thanks to Summit Racing Equipment in Tallmadge for providing the venue for this awesome cruise-in!  They also donated the gift cards that were available to win via an hourly drawing.  Make sure you check them out for all of your automotive needs!

Also on hand this Sunday was our main sponsor, AutoInterests High Performance Driving Events.  They had an awesome deal running where they were buying helmets for customers who needed to upgrade their safety equipment!  They had coupons on hand to save on track time and CARFEST 2016 (a 3-day festival for automotive enthusiasts).  If you've ever wanted to get your car on a race track, AutoInterests is the group to do it with!  They have a great program for beginners with classroom time, instruction, and on track sessions, all for only $75 (check it out here).  If you've been on track before and are looking for some more seat/practice time, experienced drivers enjoy their track days as well - with plenty of track time, limited run groups, and competitive prices, they have the best value around!  This season, they have track days at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Pittsburgh International Race Complex (PittRace), and GingerMan Raceway.  You can find AutoInterests' current schedule (and sign up to drive!) on their website at

Stay tuned to this website, as well as our Facebook page for photos from Sunday May 15th which will be posted soon!

We hope you'll join us for our next gathering which includes a Dyno Day, on Sunday June 5th at Smokey's Dyno and Performance.  If you haven't already signed up to get your car on the dyno, you can do so here.
